Always taking into consideration the objective that the customer wants to achieve, the investigations are structured through:

Verification of movements at agreed times, through static (so-called stalking) and dynamic (so-called shadowing) visual monitoring activities; Use of GPS satellite systems, as foreseen and authorized by Ministerial Decree 269 of 1 December 2010; At the end of the investigations, a Written report that can be produced in court accompanied by photographic evidence and videos; Documentation through videos and/or photos; List of employees who carried out the investigation for a possible call as witnesses in court at the competent court.

Relying on an Investigation Agency means being able to acquire data and evidence, including photographic and video, to be used in all Courts.

Having specified that the private investigator in Italy can only carry out investigations if in possession of the License, at the end of the Investigations an Investigative Report with probative value is drawn up before the competent Judge. The Investigative Report is essential and has the purpose of documenting the investigative activity carried out and the evidence acquired.

The evidence collected by an Investigative Agency as part of the civil trial falls under the so-called "atypical" evidence. Unlike the criminal trial, the civil trial does not allow the parties to provide evidence not expressly indicated by the legislator. But the doctrine has extended the producibility of atypical evidence also within civil proceedings, as provided for in criminal proceedings. To confirm this, the Court of Milan sanctioned the nature of atypical evidence of the Investigative Report, specifying that this report can have full probative effect as its contents can be acquired in the proceedings through "oral evidence", or through the calling of witnesses of the investigator on the elements he discovered during the investigation.
