PROPERTY INVESTIGATIONS: WHAT ARE THEY?
The Asset Investigations fall within the investigations carried out by the Alpine Investigation Agency. These investigations are carried out in order to ascertain the asset status of a Natural Person or a Legal Person.
Asset investigations are carried out through the cross-analysis of elements collected from public sources, paid databases and national public archives. These investigations are carried out not only through classic investigative methods but also through the use of Osint-based intelligence techniques (Open Source Intelligence). In addition to also carrying out an evaluation analysis of the total amount of personal assets.
WHEN TO CARRY OUT AN ASSETS INVESTIGATION?
Asset investigations allow you to ascertain the assets of a natural or legal person. For example, immovable and movable property, shares, shares and company shares. In addition to income from employment or pensions. In this case it is necessary to also take into account any passive assets, verifying the existence of debts, protests, mortgages, prejudicial claims and ongoing procedures. When it is necessary to carry out asset investigations:
- Natural Person Asset Investigations:
These investigations are carried out if there is a need to proceed with the recovery of the credit, or in the case of hereditary succession to understand the total amount of the assets, or even if the ex-spouse does not pay the amount of the maintenance allowance, etc. ;
- Legal Person Asset Investigations:
These investigations may be necessary when the company is faced with an investment to be made, such as mergers and acquisitions or in cases where credit disputes, financial evaluation of a company and much more are involved.
Asset investigations are the tool through which it is possible to have an overview of the asset situation of a natural and/or legal person in order to be able to proceed with legal action for debt recovery.
Companies use this type of investigation when, for example, they have trade receivables and must take action towards the counterparty. It is sometimes useful when you want to set up a new company. For example, if it is necessary to have an account of the assets of a new member. By knowing the real financial status of a Subject and/or a Legal Person you can decide whether or not to take future actions against them.
